Overview
Installing UserGuiding on your web platform or site requires access to its source code.
The UserGuiding Container Code needs to be placed into the head section of your source code. This action would not change any algorithms of your platform's source.
If you’re uncomfortable with this, please consult your nearest friendly developer.
How to install the Container Code
Log in to your UserGuiding panel
Open Settings
Open the Containers tab
You will see a ready to use, Default Container.
Click Show
Copy or email your container code to your developer
Once you complete installation, you will see a blue checkmark under the Code Embedding status.
You will also see the code installation progress under the Installation tab
To install UserGuiding on different web applications or sites, here you can also create a new container and use that one.
Hint💡: Naming different containers based on domains that you are going to use them for would be handy. (i.e Staging, Production, etc.)
Once the installation is completed, you can publish UserGuiding contents live and start showing them to your end-users.
Alternatively, you can install UserGuiding with Google's Tag Manager. Learn more.
