Session Replay and Recordings
Watch real user sessions to see exactly how people navigate your product — every click, scroll, and page visit captured as a video-like recording.

Session Replay allows you to watch video-like recordings of how real users navigate your product. Instead of guessing where users get stuck, you can see exactly what they clicked, scrolled, and typed — giving you the context behind your analytics.

Each recording captures a user's full session from start to finish, including page navigations, clicks, scroll depth, rage clicks, and JavaScript errors. You can use these recordings to identify usability issues, understand drop-off points in your funnels, debug reported bugs, and see how users interact with your onboarding flows and guides.

Session Replay works alongside your existing UserGuiding analytics. While your dashboards tell you what is happening — where users drop off or which steps they skip — Session Replay shows you why. Together, they give you a complete picture of the user experience.

Sessions are recorded automatically based on the conditions you configure in Settings, such as which pages to capture, which users to include, and how long recordings should last. All recordings are stored securely and subject to the privacy masking and data retention rules you define.

💡 Session Replay is available in the Growth Plan: including up to 3.000 Recordings with 30 Day Retention and 5 Playlists, and in the Enterprise Plan: including up to 5.000 Recordings with up to 90 Day Retention and 30 Playlists
