Creating and Styling the Resource Center
Learn how to create and style your Resource Center.

Overview

Resource Center is a tool that allows you to collect and organize all your onboarding material under one roof. It can gather and display all your checklists in a single place! This article will talk about creating and styling your Resource Center.

How to Create and Style a Resource Center?

You can easily create and style your own Resource Center. You only have a few steps you need to go through:

  1. Configuration
  2. Editor
    1. Content
    2. Style
    3. Tabs

1. Configuration

To make sure you have the correct configuration, here's what you should check:

  • First, change its status to active to activate your Resource Center.
    • You must have the container code embedded in your webpage.
  • Next, select page targeting on the pages where you would like your Resource Center to be visible.
    • This is important as you won't be able to save your changes unless you have page targeting.
  • Pick your audience by selecting the correct segmentation.
  • Finally, choose a container based on the domain you want to place in the Resource Center.

2. Editor

Content

Once you click on the Resource Center page and add a new one, you will be directed to its creation and styling page. To edit and personalize your Content, you have a few options:

  • First, change the title and give your Resource Center a name.
  • Next, add a subtitle to help your users understand the purpose of your resource center.
  • Edit your search bar and personalize your tool.
  • Enable the search function if you wish to connect your knowledge base.
  • Add modules; these could be your guides, checklists, external URLs, or code snippets. You can add emojis to make them more fun! 🤗

Style

There are a few things you can do to customize your Resource Center.

  • Change the header style to solid or gradient.
  • Select a header and text color.
  • Adjust the width of the widget.
  • And select or upload a custom font.
  • Change the launcher type and upload your images accordingly.
  • Personalize your launcher by editing its color and icon and adding dynamic text.
  • Change the position and placement of your launcher.

Tabs

You can personalize your tabs under the Resource Center with integrations.

  • Select the starting tab depending on your integrations.
  • Adjust the colors of the tab menu and the beacon.
  • Enable connections to the Knowledge Base, the Product Updates Page, and the AI Assistant.
  • Show the latest Product Updates post on the Home page.

Important: The content and tabs within the Resource Center should match the user's segmentation to be displayed in the Resource Center.
