Setting Up the Public Roadmap
Share what you're building on a public roadmap where your users can vote and comment.

Overview

The Public Roadmap lets you share what you're building directly with your users. Roadmap items appear on your Product Updates page as a board grouped by status, where users can vote and comment on the features they care about. The Roadmap is part of Product Updates. Depending on your plan, you may see an upgrade prompt when activating it.

To collect and moderate ideas submitted by your users, see the Managing Feature Requests article.

Setting Up Your Roadmap

Go to Product Updates > Page Settings to configure your roadmap:

  • Status Columns: Create and reorder the columns shown on your public roadmap. Each status has a name and a color, and you can drag statuses to reorder them. The order here determines the column order your users see.

  • Categories: Organize roadmap items and feature requests into categories so users can find what they care about.

  • Voting: Choose how vote counts are displayed. You can hide the vote count until a user has voted, or hide vote counts completely.

Working With the Roadmap Board

The Roadmap page in your panel shows your items as a kanban board grouped by status. Drag cards between columns to change their status. Click a card to open its details, edit its content, and review the votes and comments it has received.

Roadmap items can be created directly on the board or promoted from user-submitted feature requests. See the Managing Feature Requests article for the promotion flow.

What Your Users See

On your Product Updates page, users see a Roadmap tab with your items organized in status columns. They can:

  • Vote on roadmap items to show what matters most to them.
  • Open an item to read its details and leave comments.

Multiple Languages

Status names, category names, and roadmap item titles and descriptions can be translated into each language you have added in your Localization settings. Users see the roadmap in the language they select on your page.
