Creating an Impact Report
Before creating an impact report, you must define what constitutes success on your platform. Goals are specific actions that users take, reflecting key behaviors and interactions that are crucial to your platform's success. Click here to learn more about creating a goal.
Once your goals are set, you can begin creating an impact report to delve deeper into how different actions impact these goals:
- Visit UserGuiding's impact reports page
- Click the "+ Create an Impact Report" button
- If you haven’t already created goals, set one
- Select a goal for which you want to generate the report

- Define "Impact Actions" such as onboarding material interactions or other specific user actions that you believe significantly contribute towards achieving the selected goal

- If necessary, add one more impact action for a comprehensive analysis
- Once set, click the "Create Report" button
- Publish changes to update the UserGuiding script on your platform, ensuring that the latest data is captured.
